Have comcast, trying to setup wireless router
I have a comcast modem (will send the model once i get back home) hooked up to a d-link wireless router. that is hardwired into the desktop. the desktop gets online NO problem, however, both laptops can get on the lan but not the internet via wireless. i need help :-( any ideas would be lovely. when i get home tonight i will post the ipconfig /all from both machines as well as router and modem info (more specific) been at this for a week. have already tried restarting computers, powercycling the router/modem, resotring to defaults many times. nothing seems to work. could be the laptops (which are running vista....) but i think there is something wrong with the dns info given out by the router. i did notice the wan subnet is 255.255.248.0. once again... input please!
