Cry Router set-up problem

I can't seem to get passed the computer settings on the set-up disk for my new WRT54G. I've tried the reset switch and my cable connections are correct. My wired computer has Win 98 O/S and I'm trying to set-up my wireless Laptop and printer. I have bellsouth DSL using a westell modem. Any suggestions?

open up a browser and type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.. that's the router setup page..

or go to http//linksys.com/connect with you XP computer connected directly to the modem, it's the online tool for the router.

I'm not really sure what you're asking about... but the computer you're trying to setup the router with, is it connected to the router with a wire, and then the router to the DSL?

Are there settings in particular that you're having trouble with?

If you need further assistance let us know.

What works, and what doesn't? Can you connect to the Internet with the wired system?

by the way, i only indicated the ways to get to the router's setup page, but since that you didn't indicate the exact problem that you have there, then we can't tell what to do next..
