Private subnet ?????
Is it possible to add an ip address to my private subnet on a 2200 westell modem. And if not do you know why an address would stop being accepted to the subnet? arg port forwarding shouldnt be this complicated lol.

I don't understand the question, please explain what you're trying to do.

yeah seriously. all subnetting shows is the structure of how your IP addresses are distributed to your network. there's no such thing as a "private subnet". More importantly, that would have no connection to port forwarding. Let's start with what you're actually trying to do and what are you using?
I'm guessing you're trying to do a port forwarding from your router. Are you trying to dmz to a specific host or running a program that needs to get out from your firewall? What are you trying to do? ![]() Last edited by bulok : 12-22-2004 at 12:48 PM. |
