Wireless Routers
i myself got a wireless router for my computer (it was a gift) my step-mother wants to know if you have to connect it to her hard drive sence my computer has the card inside?

Are you asking if you have to use a wired connection to her computer? If so, that would depend on whether her computer has wireless capability.
