Good connection speed?
I'm planning on living with 3 other people in an apartment next year and was wondering what a good cable speed to order was. I'll probably be the only one using the connection for online gaming/downloading things, although they will likely be online frequently and will occasionally game and whatnot. I want the connection to be good so I can game lag free and have good download speeds on things. The options are as follows:
768 Kbps download/128 Kbps upload 2 Mbps download/384 Kbps upload 7 Mbps download/512 Kbps upload 15 Mbps download/768 Kbps upload Thanks |

Re: Good connection speed?
I'd probably be looking at the 7mbit or 15mbit connections. For your games, the upload speed is also significant, so the faster speeds there would probably make a difference.

Re: Good connection speed?
The 2 Mbps download/384 Kbps upload might do what u want it to, but it may lag if u download heeps.
If i was you I'd go with the 7 Mbps download/512 Kbps upload as it would not lag while hosting or playing online games at the same time, unless u got a **** computer of course lol. Also if u'd be saving money since the 15 Mbps download/768 Kbps upload connection would cost alot more. good luck with that, hope i helped :) |
