Windows 98 cable download woes
I am running windows 98 SE all windows updates and newest drivers installed. My download speeds are high for a couple seconds then gradually drop to around 50kb/ sec. This problem does not occur with Windows 2000 so I can only assume that the issue is with the way '98 is handling the connection. Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated.

try downloading in safe mode and see if that fixxes it .. if it does then you have software running that is slowing you down ( well probly anyway ).
If it doesnt help then maybe if you "tinker" with some settings ![]() |
