Using MN-700 Router w/ USB modem

Hello!

I just got a Microsoft MN-700 router that I was hoping to using to share
an internet connection between my Desktop and my laptop.

The problem is, it seems that I need a modem w/ an ETHERNET cable connection, and I have an ADSL modem that connections to my desktop with a USB cable.

Is there a way to use the MN-700 with my USB modem, or must I haul the router and adapter back to the store? A frustrating discovery.

Nope, you need an Ethernet adapter for any broadband router sold in the US. There's a rather expensive USB one in the UK, but I don't know anything about it.

Thanks for the reply. I've since contacted my ISP and they're sending an ethernet-capable model in exchange. This should solve the problem...
