Access some web sites not others

I have a Linksys WRT54GL connected to a PPoE wireless broadband connection. I have a desktop and 2 laptops connected by wireless to the router. All was working well - then something changed but I cannot work out what.

The problem is I can access some web sites not others. For example we can always get Google, but often cannot get the sites that Google search results point to, also cannot get our email site actrix.co.nz.

Also I was using cisco vpn client to remote into my desktop at work - and that has stopped working - I press connect and nothing happens.

I know it must be a router problem - because when I ditch the router and connect the desktop straight to the wireless internet connection it all works fine.

I have tried resetting and rebooting etc the router. I am not using any encryption (nearest neighbour about 1 km away!). I have tried changing the MTU settings (defaults to 1492).

I have spent hours on the internet trying to find advice about what to do - I would really appreciate some help

Please do not post multiple threads on the same issue, you already have one going here: Linksys WRT54GL web access problem
