Sites inaccessible on home LAN, work LAN-OK
Thanks for the read.
I have a home LAN comprising a VISA SP1 Core2Duo PC + wireless Dell D630 laptop, XP Core2Duo on which I have found trouble connecting to some websites on my home ADSL1 service (Exetel.com.au). Examples: http://www.sportingpulse.com, and some https sites. Both PC and laptop fail to access sites these sites via my Netcomm NB5+4W modem/router. Temporarily disabling my firewall (NOD security suite) does not change the issue. However, when my laptop is connected to my work LAN all is well - pointing to a home modem issue. I'm lost from here - no expert on modem security. Where to next? Cheers |

Re: Sites inaccessible on home LAN, work LAN-OK
Can others in your neighborhood connect to those sites?
Have you considered resetting the router to factory defaults and reconfiguring it? Have you asked your ISP if they have an issue that could be preventing the access?
