No internet connection
Hi, My name is Renee I have tried all Day to connect my NETGEAR to the host computer and the host to Embarq 660> The connection from my computer to the host using the NETGEAR router works but when I take the wire from the router to the embarq I loose the connection. However if I just use the wire from the host to the Embarq 660 I get the internet. Why wont the Embarq connect to the router. HELP before I throw it out the window. Thanks (just kidden) Renee

Power cycle the modem and router whenever you change any wiring configuration.

Turn off power on both units for 30 seconds or more.
