is $15 a good deal for a wirless router?& can explain to me how router + adapter work

Someones selling one for $15 dollars, I can't remember the brand name, but not linksys. I was wondering if I could use a linksys adapter with that router? And could it be any linksys adapter, or would it have to be a certain model?

Thanks.

In general, any wireless equipment that adheres to the 802.11g standard will work across brands. I have a mix of at least half a dozen brands of wireless equipment here, and they all play together just fine.
