Wireless horrors. please help
This issue is really starting to aggravate me. Ok, here's the story... we have a main computer downstairs and two other computers upstairs. The main computer has a Linksys Wireless G router and a Westell 6100 modem hooked up, which enables a wireless network for all three computers in the house. After losing connection a few weeks back, my misinformed mother called Verizon DSL and through the phone, she reset the connection and screwed everything up. Basically, she set up a LAN for the dowstairs computer. I called Verizon back a week later and spoke to another person. We configured the IP addresses for the modem and router and voila! the two upstairs computers started recieving the wireless signal again. Here's the problem... the two computers upstairs (recieving wireless signals) only work when we disable the connection downstairs, which is now apparantley a WAN Miniport (PPPOE connection). All three comps use the same WAN password and username, yet for some reason, the two upstairs PCs ONLY work when we "disable" the network downstairs. For example, right now I'm on the main computer, connected to the WAN Miniport, but the two other PCs will NOT connect to the internet, even though the wireless computer icons are still there and it says there is a strong signal. Why is this? How can I make ALL THREE computers connect wirelessly? It's a pain to have to go downstairs and disable the PPPOE connection just to use wireless internet upstairs, vice versa. This not only created a networking problem for our computers, but now my Xbox Live subscription is going to waste with a "Failed IP connection" every time I try to sign in on Live. Anyway, here's a cmd screen shot to help out. Thanks a ton guys.

Re: Wireless horrors. please help
You have ICS running on this machine, that's clearly wrong, since you have a router.
Try disabling ICS on this machine and configuring it for automatic IP addresses, I think you'll find it works much better. Disabling Internet Connection Sharing XP - Enable DHCP Select Start > Settings > Network Connections.
