Very Strange Connection Issues

Hi All , Im new to this forum but long story short ;) I have just moved from the UK to Denmark to study, and have signed up with an ISP named Stofa:

Today they sent me a "Scientific Atlanta 2320 modem" It should work wirelessly with my laptop (Dell inspiron 6000) but It wont connect for some reason...

My laptop is able to connect to the internet via USB atm, And after 2 hours of chatting with the company on the phone I managed to get the ethernet cable to connect also , BUT the it still wont connect via wireless..... and My playstation 3 wont connect to the internet via the ethernet OR wireless , ONLY the laptop , so its really confusing me right now...

I have been through so much trouble with this and My family are all back home so there is really no one I can turn to right now >.< , Any help would be GREATLY appreciated , thanks a lot in advance!

Re: Very Strange Connection Issues

Can you actually detect the wireless network?
