Networking 3 Desktops w/DSL
Hello Tsf!
I'am currently using Quest/DSL modem with wireless gateway. It is an Actiontech. They are sitting right next to each other on the same desk. I have enabled the wireless. I know its enabled because my sister uses it. Basicly what i want to do is set up another windows XP in my room, is there some way i use the wireless? It came with Wall mount thingy http://www.smithgear.com/se-630lc-2f-50.html I have had a hard time trying to connect this little bugger, But if i cant use wireless for the 3rd Desktop would that work? Modem: http://www.qwest.com/internethelp/mo...701/index.html Lemme know if you need any more information! Thanki |

Re: Networking 3 Desktops w/DSL
I think those wall mounts are to connect a DSL modem to your phone line, not for connecting a computer to a modem.
If your computer has a wireless network card, you should be able to connect to the wireless gateway. |

Re: Networking 3 Desktops w/DSL
There should be no issue using the wireless for more than one computer if you have a wireless adapter in the machine.
