Firewall Problem UPD,TCP
Trying to get a program called "Echolink" to work on my XP 3 Home computer. Program is used by Amateur Radio Operators to contact other Hams via the computer. I have a Airlink 101 802.11g Wireless Router which I was able to go to a Vertual Server and open ports (TCP) 5200 and (UDP) 5198 & 5199 to allow passage of the information. I had dropped the windows firewall to see if that was blocking me from connecting to a test station. Did not make any difference. I wonder if the Speedtouch 516 modem has a firewall which is blocking me. Any questions or suggestions ?
The program had worked before I got a DSL line installed and also went wireless so I messed up something. Thanks Bob Palmer |
