westell 327w connection problem

i have this modem from verizon, and we keep losing connection on it. i have contacted verizon like six times about the problem, and they even sent a tech to look at it. the dsl light will start flashing, and lose the connection for a minute or two, then come back up. verizon will just run a line test on it, but by the time we get them on the phone, everything is working just fine. does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

Re: westell 327w connection problem

I can't answer your question, but I have had the same problem for the past 11 months. Guess what...I just had cable installed Saturday! I got too frustrated calling and spending 45 min. doing the same diagnostic tests just to have them send out a tech to NOT solve the problem. I just got off the phone with verizon and they gave me my last month free, so I wouldn't have to pay the cancellation fee. Keep in mind, however, that they were able to see that my line wasn't working-so unless they can replicate some sort of problem, they may not be so forgiving. Good luck.
