roadrunner cable or bellsouth dsl

which one would you suggest: roadrunner cable or bellsouth dsl...or just cable or dsl in general.

this is for my parents, who are just use it for email/websurf,...no gaming or anything like that...

currently bellsouth dsl has a better deal, so thats something to consider too.

If your gonna go do it do it in style go cable, Especially if there is only like a ten dollar difference.

DSL is like 12 times faster than dialup for a standard install.

Cable is like 4 times faster than DSL.

Why walk when you can run. But why run when you can fly........:D

If it's for your parents, and they're just into casual browsing and email, I would recommend making cost the main factor. You can get DSL at 128k I believe and it should be relatively cheap and if this is a guranteed bandwidth, would be more than adequate for casual browsing.

Pseudocyber has a good point there.

I am paying the same price for cable as I was paying for DSL here in Ma. so I figured what the hey. And I'm allowed 5 ip addresses for $6.95 more a month.

It's really all about how much you want to spend in the end I guess.
