Cannot access any websites even if wireless connection seems to be is fine!
Hi!
First of all sorry for my english. I'm from Finland and my problem is the following: My computer shows that I'm connected to the internet, but I can't access any sites (google, yahoo for example). I've done many different things, like a full system scan (norton and ad-aware), updating all drivers for the wlan usb-adapter. Nothing alarming was found in neither one of the system scans, and the driver update didn't resolve the problem. I have also done the ipconfig /all thing and here is the result (of course it was in finnish so I translated the most of it): Microsoft Windows [versio 6.0.6000]I have also done pinged the default gateway (192.168.0.1) and it is fine (3 ms response time), but when I ping any other address (like google) it gives no response. I checked the properties of the wireless network and it says that IPv4 is fine but IPv6 isn't. Now I use my laptop and the internet works great on it, so the problem is only on the other computer. The computer runs Windows Vista, and accessing internet sites wirelessly is my problem. Please anybody who have a solution or an idea of one please help me out. Thanks in advance! Well is the other computer a laptop as well? If not, then try a direct lan wire connection to see if it is at least configured correctly for internet.
