lynks ????????
whwen it comes to router i clue less except for enjoying the great service they offer. my quetion is that im using a lynks router at home for the use of the internet. there only three persons with acess to it but some times the internet conection could be so slow that i was wondering if there is any software that i could use to scan the router for cookies ect. the laptops are ok because they work fine and quick at work. since i dn't have controll over what the person downloads on line i just thought if that could be a cause or i might just have to change my internet provider.i'm using some wireless service and even if the did subcribe the normal speed its has become to slow.:

Re: lynks ????????
have you tried plugin the ethernet in to see if anything changes? wireless is alright if you have no way to get to the modem. it might be your router, what speed is your router and you adapter? you're not gonna get the full experience with wireless as you would with a wired connection.

Re: lynks ????????
i haven't realy check the speed so i will do that when i get home and post it later,i use to use the earternet plug before from the router but same speed slow slow slow. but since i raly need the freedom to roam about with my laptop thats y i wanted to know if there is something i could do to the router or maybe i just need a better provider.
because since its known that cookies and spyware slows down your pc i thought that since pc can be cleaned from that threat there might be some way for the router,i stand to be corrected. thanks for promt reply more peace n blessings to all |
