[SOLVED] I can connect to UltimateBet.com but no where else?

I have Verizon wireless and it shows I am connected to the Internet, however I can't acces any websites like google etc, but I can to Ultimate Bet from my desktop link and I can play poker. I have not downloaded or deleted anything on my laptop recently. Once I got to google front page but nothing after that...it just shows "connecting...." but never does. I have Norton and use windows Vista.

Please follow the instructions here (5 pages) and then post all the requested logs in a new thread here for the security analysts to look at. If you have any trouble running any of the scans, leave them and move onto the next.

The security forum is always busy, so please be patient and you will receive a reply as soon as possible. If you go to Thread Tools > Subscribe at the top of your new thread you will receive an email as soon as a reply is posted.

I found the solution. I disenabled my Norton Live Scan and voila!.

I hadn't been able to follow the steps since step 2 required to go to a clean-up site which of course I couldn't do...
