Help please wireless

i have just bought a new wireless (peak wireless) and go onto the ip address of the wireless router and set up a WEP key. me being a plonker didnt write this down and it wont let me connect to it. i have tried to get onto the ip address and it wont let me. im really annoyed at myself.

can anyone give me assistance as soon as poss please/

I'm assuming that you're talking about a wireless router. If this is the case, you can usually "factory reset" the router by depressing the reset button with a pen or un-bent paperclip. The reset button is usually found on the back or bottom of the router - through a small round hole in the case.

Doing this WILL wipe out any/all configuration/security settings on the router. If you want to re-establish these settings, you'll need to login to the router via a browser (from a connected PC), login (see manual or mfg's support site for default username/password) and reconfigure the router using the web-based interface.
