Every now and then i get disconnected from the internet, look over at my modem, only to find it rebooting... I have no idea why it would do this, any possible suggestions or solutions?

Re: Modem Resetting Itself!
powerhouse,
DSL modems should not randomly reset like this. You've either got a defective modem, a loose or faulty AC adapter or BOTH. Try plugging the modem's AC adapter into a different power source and re-seat the power connector on the back of the modem. Also, make sure your modem is in a well ventilated area as overheating can cause this behavior. If none of this solves the reset problem - call your telco or ISP and request a NEW adsl modem. - John
