Router blocking some sites
Hi everyone
I have the same problem and I tried to reset the router: without any succes. Now, we have a laptop (wireless connection) and a PC at home which is connected to the (Belkin) router with an ethernet cable. Both of the computers don't open hotmail, msn, interglot, or even the website of a famous belgian newspaper, etc. The weird thing is that my previous laptop didn't had any problems. It worked well with the router, and the PC opened also all of the websites except hotmail and msn... This points out that the router is the problem I think... I almost tried everything, and I'm really going insane at the moment... Does someone knows how to fix it? I'm sorry for my bad English! But I hope you all understand my problem Greetz! |

Re: Belkin Router Blocking Websites
Hey Eetman
The way i fixed my problem was by changing the MTU setting to 1392. From what i unserstand diffrent ISP will require you to have this at a certain amount. I used a program called DrTCP to change this for me. Hope this helps. |

Re: Router blocking some sites
Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.
I've created a new thread for your issue here. Note: You will need to post complete details of your configuration and your specific issue in this new thread for us to help you. Thanks for your cooperation.
