internet and networking problem

hey guys im not sure whats wrong with my router or modem.
actually im not really sure what the problem is

i have a 512k adsl connection, D-link DSL-302G gen II modem and D-link
DI-704UP Router

The actual problem is when i use a bittorrent program such as uTorrent or Azureus. While its on, it doesnt download much and my brother's computer cant even use the net at all and my internet explorer sometimes runs really slow, like unbelieveably slow
Sometimes my internet connection just goes really slow im not really sure why

if anyone has any ideas, tips or advice, i'd appreciate it alot

Re: internet and networking problem

Monsta_Mikal,

If the program you mentioned is sucking all of your Internet bandwidth, I would suggest that you uninstall it.

This site has a strict policy against supporting P2P file sharing software so this is all the advice I can provide.

Respectfully,

John

Please review the Tech Support Forum Rules & Conduct, and you'll see we provide no support for P2P applications here at TSF.
