Re: network disappeared after using last known good configuration
Hold the Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc
Please respond to all the following steps.
Let's see this as well. Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt: In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

Re: network disappeared after using last known good configuration
In device manager,The network adapters are 1394 Net Adaptor,Bluetooth PAN Network Adaptor and Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC.I have tried 'update driver' and 'scan for hardware changes' and it says it's working properly.I can't open 'properties' under any adapter, nothing happens.I can't move my desktop icons at all.I can't save my pictures to any kind of device, like SD, floppy,or cd. Something is wrong with all of that also. Most properties of anything will not open. Block Buster said it sounds like a virus, but everything started when I did the "Last Known Good Configuration". I can't carry it in to have it fixed because I'm short on cash right now.

Re: network disappeared after using last known good configuration
Well, you're describing issues a lot more serious than a networking failure! It sure sounds like something is corrupted with Windows.
You might give SFC a try, it's a last ditch effort here. SFC Tutorial

Re: network disappeared after using last known good configuration
Sorry it was a bust, but it sounded like you had major issues.
