Re: Ethernet on wiped PC

Hello and welcome to the forum

Sounds like you have not loaded the drivers for your Network Adaptor . . and maybe some other devices on the motherboard as well.

Do you have a cd with the motherboard drivers?

You can look in Device Manager to see what does not have drivers loaded.

Re: Ethernet on wiped PC

Right click My Computer . . Select Manage . . Device Manager

Look at the list for any devices marked with a yellow ! or in the Unknown catagory

What brand/model is the PC?

Re: Ethernet on wiped PC

There ya have it . . you need the driver for it. You can find it on the Lenova support website.

Is that the only device not recognized?

Re: Ethernet on wiped PC

You should be able to find the drivers for all ofthem on the Lenova support site:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si.../homeLenovo.do

Install the chipset driver first, then the others in any order
