Recording of phone onto PC

Is there a simple way to patch your phone line into your PC? Perhaps a splitter that links the sound to your PC?
Basically I want to be able to record the audio of the phone line onto my PC.
How do I use my land line phone line in this manner?

There are many simple phone recording interfaces that will give you an audio signal out with a connection to the phone line. You just need to connect that audio output to the line-in input of the PC.
