Re: How To Use Pc To Receive Fax From Satellite Downlinking
You need to use an Internet FAX provider, there are many. Since you want normal FAX machines on the PSTN phone network to receive them, you can't do this without someone at the other end.
I use 101FAX for my FAX needs, but there are many other services.

Re: How To Use Pc To Receive Fax From Satellite Downlinking
Dear johnwill !
Thanx for suggestion. But my problem is some what unique. we are in broadcasting area.we are having free satellite data uplinking & downliknking facility in my Head office & satellite downlionking facility at the suboffices at sacattered geographical locations through out the india(our insat 3C or insat 3A is available). we would like to use our own resources & do not want to pay other service providers for channel facilitation to transport our fax data. for example i want to send some fax page to all suboffices. I want to use normal PSTN fax machine at Headoffice.this data will go to some "interface" which will convert this into suitable format to make it tranpotable via satellite U/L. Then our sub offices will receive this data which will go into "some interface" for conversion & finally to be printed on fax (PSTN normal one). I am asking about the "interface solution". if any clue or suggestion pl. send . regards Rajeshadi |

Re: How To Use Pc To Receive Fax From Satellite Downlinking
I have no idea about an interface solution, though I'd be looking in the VoIP area for possibilities. If the FAX machine will also be used for other FAX receptions from locations other than your specific locations, I really don't know what you're going to do with that.
