[SOLVED] Reformatted windows XP and it deleted all my network connections.

Alright so last night I reformatted windows XP, I remembered to save everything except my network settings and now I have no internet access. Now here's the somewhat tricky part. I have just moved into a new apartment and I was connecting using my roommates router through an ethernet cable. He uses roadrunner from timewarner cable. I'm going to be getting the "roadrunner" installation CD later today. Should that be enough to get the connection up and running again? I'm currently posting from work. Is there anything else I can do? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

You don't need any installation CD.

Please supply the following info, exact make and models of the equipment please.

What country are you located in.
Name of your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
Make and exact model of the broadband modem.
Make and exact model of the router (if a separate unit).
Model numbers can usually be obtained from the label on the device.
Connection type, wired or wireless.
If wireless, encryption used, (none, WEP, WPA, or WPA2)
Version and patch level of Windows on all affected machines, i.e. XP-Home (or XP-Pro), SP1-SP2, Vista, etc.





Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

Hey, I really appreciate the reply. Luckily I managed to figure out what was wrong. The driver for my ethernet port didn't get reinstalled, but I backed up all my drivers so all I had to do was locate it and reinstall it manually. So it's working again. Thanks though!
