[SOLVED] Issue with DSLAM - need help

I need some information/help related to ALCATEL 7300 DSLAM.

I see DSLAM being in many of the posts hence posting my query here.

I am trying to bringup ALCATEL 7300 DSLAM but am never able to get the pormpt to login.

The DSLAM has the following cards.
AACU-C, SANT-F, ADLT-N, ABLT-D, ABLT-F and ADLT-L.

LEDs on ADLT-N card has never glown, so I guess this card is not working.

Major and critical LED's on AACU-C are always glowing. Below are the messages printed when connected to the DSLAM. (Term serv is connected to the AACU-C card.

Some of the failures noticed are:

\"Failed to load or find requested software\""

\"Equipment failed self-test\""

I'm not sure how to proceed further.

Any help/poniters in this regard is highly appreciated.

WHen connected to the DSLAM after powering it on below messages are printed:

Serial driver initialized.
Waiting for MIB stability - please be patient
....
MIB is stable, continuing

Re: Issue with DSLAM - need help

I am not an Alcatel user, but when you have a software load failure things are not good. Looks like it has lost connection to the OS. Are you familiar with the programming of this device. I would look for the back up configuration file, and I might even suggest opening the case to see if there is hardware malfunction. Of course, don't do this if you are not trained in it. Sorry I am not more help.

Re: Issue with DSLAM - need help

The DSLAM should be only accessed by trained TELCO or ISP personnel.
Contact Alcatel or your company for support

Re: Issue with DSLAM - need help

Issue was that the flash was corrupted. Programming the flash also did not help. Eventually had to get a new flash with valid image to bring up the DSLAM. Thanks for posting your reply.
