FIOS D Link Router
I have a FIOS D Link Router that worked ok in USA
I am now trying to get it to work in the UK on a cable connection. Would I expect this to be a problem? |

Re: FIOS D Link Router
Hello and welcome to the forum
![]() Check to be sure the power transformer works on 240 v 50 cycle current . . if so you will only need a plug converter from the US to UK style. If not, you will need a transformer to go from 240 to 120 volts If the UK Modem has an Eathernet out plug you should be set to go

Re: FIOS D Link Router
The FiOS routers that Verizon supplies locally are standard broadband routers, though they have Verizon specific firmware. However, I've connected one to a Comcast account and it worked...
FWIW, these are Actiontec MI424WR routers, not the D-Link, but I have no reason to believe the D-Link would be any different.
