Hello there guys
I have a problem. I do alot of newzbin downloading and recently, my system has stopped download things correctly. Every file I download gets corrupted, F.e. in quickpar i get an average of 75% intact files. Strangely enough 'some' small files get through without a hitch, but they are always quite small. I have done multiple scans with AVG anti spyware 7.5. I'm running McAfee Firewall and Virusscan. My config: WinXP Pro SP2, E6850 @ 3.00Ghz 2 Gb RAM DDR2(2 sticks of 1GB) over 2TB hard drives both internal and external, of which 1 SATA drive running my windows. I'm quite sure this is a spyware problem but can't seem to get my hands on the right solution... Any ideas? Also ran memcheck 86 but i'm too much of a n00b to understand what it says... (just figured it's possible the RAM is faulty?) Cheers and thanks!! |

Re: Download corruption/CRC failed - all dlds corrupt
Please follow the instructions here (5 pages) and then post all the requested logs in a new thread here for the security analysts to look at. If you have any trouble running any of the scans, leave them and move onto the next.
The security forum is always busy, so please be patient and you will receive a reply as soon as possible. If you go to Thread Tools > Subscribe at the top of your new thread you will receive an email as soon as a reply is posted.
