I can send emails with no text fine but when adding any text or attch. it just doesn't send but recieves emails fine. My connectionis fine my provider has checked this as we have tested with another modem and that is sends and recieves fine so no error in outlook! Is there any setting in the modem which would solve this prob.

Re: modem settings

Hopefully you have a manual with that unit because I couldn't find anything setup info on the net for a wbmr-g52(?). Sounds like port blocking is taking place within the modem itself. But you need a manual for the procedure to gain access to the setup screens via a web browser and look at the settings or reset modem to factory defaults. Is there a little access hole on the case somewhere like some cable modems have to allow one to use a paperclip or pin to press a reset button?

Re: modem settings

I couldn't find any documentation for that modem and Buffalo doesn't show that particular modem but I would guess something to do with port blocking?
