Sb5100 Won't get online
Okay i live in south Florida and i have been using the modem for 7 months already and in that time the modem has been working perfect till the last two weeks the connection would keep going on and off some times it will get online sometimes it won't rite now it is offline the modem has Fercsa stealth X2 is there anyway i can fix this problem and also if this helps i have another modem that is brand new and that has never been connected it doesn't matter if i have to set that one up it also has the same firmware and if i need to setup that one can somebody send me the tutu my zip code is 33035 if that helps and i will need the config file

I also have a same sb5100 cable modem and its a good modem indeed. My previous sb5100 lasted three years before it went out and then I went out and bought the same modem.
Now im not saying that your modem is bad but try this, perform a long power cycle on your modem. Take every cable off of from the modem for a straight 10min. Then hook every cable back in and see if your connection comes back up. computer_doctor |
