Getting a High Speed connection?
I live in a town centre (Perth, Scotland) but BT inform me i cannot get faster than 500Kbps down my phone line.
I have tried to see about cable connection but this seems unlikely  Does anyone have any other suggestions? WiMax (when if ever), or satellite? Please give me hope. |

Forget about WiMax, by the time that's available, I'm sure there will be tons of other broadband options.
 Satellite will probably drive you nuts, they have lots of restrictions. Truthfully, what's wrong with 500kbit connections? They're way faster than dial-up.
