[SOLVED] NET Connection/IP Issue
I have a problem connecting to the NET with my desktop.
The other day I was online as usual and all of a sudden my connection went out (not the modem or router) just the connection/activity my PC was recieving. I attempted to renew my I.P address but it came up dry, and notified me that it could not be renwed and that I should contact my network admin... My router indicates activity in the port that the Ethernet Cable is plugged into. My Network Adapter shows "connected" but there is no "recieved" packets... I have no idea what to do... Basically it says there is a connection in the NET Adapter but Firefox/Explorer/MSN and any other application that runs off the NET does not work... Cannot find server... ![]() WHAT IS GOING ON?? Can anyone help a polish brother out :P |

Re: NET Connection/IP Issue
Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:
Type the following commands: PING 216.109.112.135 PING yahoo.com IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
