OS: Win XP media center edition

Sat Card not working...please help
I'm running win XP media center edition on a HP pavilion dv8000. My problem is my sat internet card is not working. In the hardware device manager it shows that I have an error in the NEC PCI to USB open host controller properties. It says that this device cannot start (code 10).
 please help. Thanks
