Modem clicks to dial out and BLUE SCREEN

I have a Dell Dimension 8300 Desktop running XP pro. I am trying to run my DL900 security software for setting up alarms. The list that the DL 900 software has for thier compatable modems includes the Modem Blaster, and a bunch of others, including the Zoom 56K PCI V.92. I tell you all this for this reason. The DL900 software was not running properly and the folks at GE Security (the software Manufacturer) said to use one of thier approved modems. I had the Modem blaster, so I installed it, and right away when the computer saw "new equipment" it clicked and Blue screen! So, I called Dell............In Bopal India! They told me that the modem blaster wasn't supported by my Dell????? So, I got the new Zoom 3030 V.92. Installed it according to the manual and everything was just fine. I thought.....Problem solved. Wrong, after about 8 hours later, I went to use that program again and I get the blue screen when the modem clicks to dial out. And I get this message: STOP 0X0000008E (0XC0000005,0X804E80FH,0XF41C1754,0X00000000).
I've downloaded the most recent updates for the DL900 software and I just can't believe that this modem too is not supported by Dell.
Sorry this is so worddy, but that should answer the basic questions anyone might have.

PLEASE Someone help!!!

Re: Modem clicks to dial out and BLUE SCREEN

It's a classic sign of bad drivers, not sure what else I can tell you without seeing it in person.
