internet connectivity issues

i have a network at home and use routers for wireless internet connection using Comcast broadband. Speed is fine but when I am online with xbox or an online bridge playing site, I lose connection on a consistent basis and have to leave and re-enter. Comcast says my modem is fine and it could be my router(s). We use Linksys routers and have 4 or 5 computers on the network. Do you have any suggestions on how to cure this as it is annoying? My son and I lose connection at the same time from different points in the house if that is helpful--he is upstairs playing Xbox and I am downstairs playing online bridge. Comcast says it is on our end and that may be the case. None of my friends have these issues with their home internet connections.

Any advice on how I can troubleshoot this?

Thanks

Re: internet connectivity issues

Try running one machine directly to the modem, if you still lose the connection, you've cleared the router of any wrongdoing.
