how do I connect a 2nd pc to my wired router

I have a westell model 6100 router already connected to compaq presario pc - want to add 2nd compaq presario in the same room to this router. how do i do this?

Buy a cheap Ethernet switch and put it between the single output port of the router and the computers.

thanks for the quick reply. what is an ethernet switch? how much is cheap? how do I/what kind of cable do I use to connect pc#2 to rounter. And where and what do I plug in at the pc end. at the router there is only the only plug in available is marked usb
