Nowhere near enough information to offer an informed guess.

Re: Lag

yeah sorry let me rephrase that. Whenever I play battlefield , or day of defeat source my computer will start with a ping of like 500 then go down to 90 or 80 and level off . I have a cable internet connection of at least 8 MBPS . I only have 1 gig of RAM . I am wondering what is the reason for the lag . And why my ping wont go down to like 20 or 30 . All my specs are under the dropdown .

Re: Lag

Hmm... Well, your dropdown says 2gigs of memory, so I figured this was a different system. I can't imagine you having this issue with even 1gig of memory, I doubt that's the issue. Sounds more like some other networking issue to me.

Register at DSLReports and run their Line Quality Tests. Post a link to the results here.

Re: Lag

There's your answer. Comcast's network is having some issues, and you're getting high latency. This is an issue for Comcast to fix.
