My System

EEK! Computer says it's connected to the internet...[moved from vista]

Computer says it's connected to the internet...
but I cannot get on...

I think its my fault though
I recently installed Norton Internet Security 2008, and when I couldnt find a way to access the program folder to edit a few files (by modifying special permissions) I decided to give up and uninstall... I believe that I must have screwed something up. I was trying to stop Norton from running (so I could modify a file that was in use as it was running) and I think I changed an important setting that allows me to connect.

Here's what it's doing now:

The network icon in the system tray shows that I'm connected to the internet (as well as my home network)

I open IE7 or FF, and it cannot connect to the internet

I cannot access my Router Settings (normally by going to "routerlogin.com")
[it says address not vaild]

however my laptop (which I'm using now) is connecting fine via wireless.

I tried to connect directly to the modem, and it shows me connected to the internet, too, but it still doesnt work.

I don't know how to ping anything, but searching though the other posts, I figured I'd post my "ipconfig/all" results:
