[SOLVED] need westell dsl modem help

I got a new modem from ebay and it turns out that it is set up for bellsouth dsl, so it asks me for a bellsouth username/password. I need to set it up for verizon dsl. Im pretty sure its possible, but i dont know exactly how to do it.

any help would be great

Reset it to factory defaults to start.

im pretty good with computers but this has me stumped. I tried to use the reset button on the back if thats what you mean, but when i turn it back on the dsl light flashes and with the ethernet plugged into my computer i get this:

Yeah, the modem homepage was at a different ip than i was trying (http://192.168.1.254) then i just had to change the VPI/VCI from 8/35(Bellsouth) to 0/35(Verizon)

I looked on westell's website and found out that the model that i have is specifically made for Bellsouth so the IP was different. Verizon specific modems have a comletely different setup page.(http://192.168.1.1)

It was an easy fix once i found the right IP for the modem.
