Tell us about your mouse. Is it ps2 (small round plug), usb (small rectangular plug) or serial?( larger rectangle with 9 holes)

The mouse is serial. The proper modem driver may not be installed for the oriinal modem, but it doesn't work with a new modem and it's driver either. now I have a new problem because I uninstalled the dial-up network, not the mouse does,t work anymore. Boy! Am I in trouble!!!! Thanks for the reply.

Hi Betty and welcome!

I was told that Win ME stands for the Mistake Edition. Lots of people having trouble with it. If you can take this back and trade it for the XP version. XP has taken care of lots of problems and bugs from ME. Better to do it now before you start downloading lots of stuff on ME. What do you think JAMMAN?

I'm still on WIN 98 and will stay there till it gives up on me then I'm going to XP.

Keep us informed, we want to know.
