Linksys Wireless VPN Broadband Router
Ok, here is the deal. I have a Linksys Wireless VPN Broadband Router which also acts as wirless access point setup in my office. I have about fifty users
to support. Only about ten use laptops on a day to day basis who use the access point to avoid more ethernet cables. Ok, I setup the Linksys with a static IP address as normal but the default IP for the access point was the same as my LAN IP, so I called linksys and the tech said to change the third octet on the static IP of the access point to 2 so they could be differentiated. Well everything worked except for no one can access our local intranet from a laptop while connected to the access point. I think I might know the problem but would like to get some feed back on the subject. Thanks in advance to all my tech friends out there.. |
