speedstream wireless route the issue?

Gateway 5310 computer. Win XP. speedstream 2624 wireless router. Just installed router with system. worked fine all day. woke up and now monitor will not receive signal from computer. Anyway this router could cause such a conflict or just coincidental?

I can't imagine how the router enters into this equation.

I think something has just crapped out.
