I'm defeated-Modem drivers

Just when you think you know something .....

I've been up and down the internet looking for a driver for a tiny modem (amr slot). It was originally out of a sony vaio desktop pcv-rs311. It had XP and I'm putting 2000 pro on it.

The modem is by lite-on (gvg) and is model cmr-002 #a1b
I found under the plastic shroud kb6008 02/04

I am totally stumped and will probably just buy a cheap modem and say his wouldn't work with win2000, but if there is a driver in existance I could save 15 bucks and wouldn't wake up in a sweat tonight knowing I failed.

Nice seeing all of you regulars again!

Never mind! For further reference, the XP driver for this modem works with 2kpro, I had it in the drivers folder on the old hard drive.

Cheers!
