802.11b to 802.11g
I'm running XP on my desktop pc with a 802.11b wireless pci card in it.
My wireless router (sitecom) is 802.11b or 802.11g Can anyone tell me if I am getting the fastest connection between the two devices or should I fit a 802.11g in the desktop and will it maany difference? I use the system for downloading divx, mp3 etc over a adsl connection with is supposed to be up to 8Mb (on a good day with a following wind). Any advice would be appreciated |
