Question Cable Router Drops Connection Every 30 Min

HI, so I have this cable connection. Its great, really fast. The problem is, it drops the connection like every 30 min. I don't understand why. Im using the net, and it drops for about 3 seconds and then turns back on and works. This happens like every 30 min. I am using a Sitecom Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC card. Im not sure which router Im using. I have win XP SP2 installed. Is there anybody who has any idea. Anything will help. This is a real pain. Please Post

-Thanks

Sounds like your lease expires on your IP address on that interval. You need to open your router webpage to change the settings. click file, open web location, 192.168.1 default password should be admin

Umm...

Hi, I did that and did change it to a longer time, but that did not do the trick. It still resets every 30 minutes or so. Any other ideas. Help!
