Hi, I hope someone can help me.
I've got a Netgear Wireless Range-Max Modem Router DG834PN and I get a 5mb/s broadband connection from Tiscali. Until recently it was working perfectly. However, the router has suddenly started to cut off for no reason. Sometimes the security light goes off but this isn't always the case. To get it working again, I have to switch it on and off at the mains or unplug the adapter and re-plug it in again from my computer. Obviously, this is quite tedious. As well as this, my downloads are very slow. I use BitComet and my downloads are refusing to start or go at an atrocious 1kb/s. I've tried assigning certain ports to BitComet but this hasn't worked. PLEASE HELP!!! |

Re: Cut Off & Super-slow Downloads
Please review the Tech Support Forum Rules & Conduct, and you'll see we provide no support for P2P applications here at TSF.

Re: Cut Off & Super-slow Downloads
Uninstall the P2P application, and I suspect the router will stop hanging. This is a common issue.
